As the neighborhood’s beloved restaurant and deli– it’s hard to believe that our team has only been serving Palestine since the early 2000s. We’re very grateful for the opportunity to support our community and it’s a privilege that we don’t take lightly.
Back in 2005, Richard Farris Jr. made the decision to take on Old Magnolia restaurant.
Armed with business acumen and a passion for cooking, Mr. Farris Jr. and his team began serving fresh deli sandwiches to residents of Palestine, Texas. As word spread and the business grew, Mr. Farris Jr. expanded the team to meet community members’ growing needs (and appetites).
Today, Old Magnolia restaurant has become a downtown staple. As a local favorite, we proudly provide tasty bites for everyone.
